Remember my last few posts about the half-moon manicure and the knit dresses with tassels? At Rihanna's recent birthday bash, not only was she rocking the gorgeous black and white half-moons, she was wearing one of those cut out dresses!!!!!

Summer Knits: Sexy & Quirky

Well...this is different, right? First off, I adore the white dress; it reminds me of the new movie 'The Black Swan'. The torso is knitted together beautifully and it has some great short accent feathers that sway when you walk...sexy! While the other designs are a little too 'out there' for my taste, I can certainly appreciate the fact that they are hand woven. Even though a lot of skin is exposed, all the important bits are carefully covered nicely. This is my list of favourites:  

1. The white feathery dress. What I wouldn't give to be 6 feet tall and wear this!

2. The black and pink dress. I love the 'bondage' detailing! 

3. The romantic soft pink dress (soft pink is big at LiME by the way!). While this dress is very long, it's still pretty cool. Is it just me or does it look like it's going to to rip if you move?

4. The black, purple and orange dress. I like it...but I don't love it. It reminds me of when I used to do ballet as a kid, but with too many colours. Meh...

LiME's new watches! $20

LOVE the new watches, especially the clear one. They are very girly and sparkly, what girl wouldn't stick out if she wore one of these babies? At $20, I might as well get all of them and switch it up every day!

Half Moon Manicure

I sent this out in an email earlier today and I can't get over how different it is! This type of mani is super fashion forward and really pushes the boundaries of normal manicures. I usually rotate between doing a french manicure, using hot pink, neon orange, or a metallic blue but I LOVE this idea! DEFINITELY going to try it out!
Do you guys love it or hate it? Let me know before I do something i'll regret (hehe).

LiME's 2011 Grammy Fashion Report

Holy crap, what is Katy Perry wearing?? While I love that she takes a lot of creative liberties in fashion, this look is a mess. From the chest up, Katy Perry looks like a Victoria Secret Angel at one of their yearly fashion shows. Her boobs are big and sparkly and her Armani Privé dress has wings! Second, the rest of her dress is so tacky I can't even take it. The dress looks like it has an entirely too long wedding train. Save it for the next Victoria's Secret fashion show, Katy!

I lovelovelove how different this is. This Jean Paul Gaultier gown accentuates Rihanna's curvy figure in all the right places. While she did show a lot of skin, she had just enough coverage to keep her looking incredible classy and classy and sophisticated. 

Who says horizontal stripes are unflattering?

Heidi Klum was a vision in gold at the 2011 Grammy's. Even though the mother of 4 (!!!) looked rocked the natural look, she made it look so glamorous! No jewelry needed!

Is it just me or does she look like a living oscar statuette??

Marc Jacobs' Autumn Winter 2011 Collection

Hello Dolls! Nice start to the morning...quite warm actually! Only -1 outside!

So I was looking at Marc Jacobs' Autumn Winter 2011 collection and I am quite unimpressed by some pieces...

I REALLY dislike this dress, it reminds me of an ugly fish. These sequins look like scales and this shade of pink is just too pale for my liking, blech. Thoughts? Would it be nicer in a different colour? Does anyone like it?

Does anyone know why Marc created this jacket? It makes this stick-thin model look quite strange. Very unflattering. On the other hand, this skirt is gorgeous. The texture is very alligator-like and it has a gorgeous sheen to it. LOVE the skirt. What do YOU guys think about this outfit? What would you have done differently? I would love if it was cinched at the waist, but that's just me!

Lovelovelovelove LOVE this outfit. The fitted jacket looks incredible with the knee-length skirt. I love how structured the jacket is because it accentuates her sexy womanly curves. I'm also a big fan of her polka dot stockings, so retro!

I would have loved to see this outfit in a brighter colour, perhaps a nice pink. I think it's very Samantha Jones from Sex and the City. Yum! What do you guys think? Classy? Needs to be more revealing?

Wow I am totally loving the sheer, puffy sleeves Marc designed; they have adorable white satin cuffs and I wish I had on one of my shirts. I find the skirt quite matronly for my style, but I can still appreciate it's aesthetic qualities! Do YOU guys like the sleeves? Too puffy? Does it make her look silly?
